Smoke In My Lungs / Liam Harris
'Smoke in my Lungs' was my debut single and the title track of his EP. The throwback guitar rock song is a tribute to old-school rock with guitar solos, catchy hooks and huge energy. Written about immature teenage relationships and nights out, the song was a late edition to the EP, but had such a big sound it could not be left out.
Big Cities / Liam Harris
'Big Cities' is a slowly building song which expresses anger at the north-south divide and the lack of opportunity in the north-east. With gritty guitar tones and cathartic vocals, the single is a tribute to my hometown of Newcastle, but also a recognition of the system that fails it and leaves young people struggling to make something of themselves.
